Your Responsibilities

To ensure we can provide you with the best service, we kindly ask that you:

  • Provide complete and accurate information relevant to your BAS and bookkeeping needs.
  • Maintain and supply necessary records and documentation in a timely manner.
  • Meet your tax obligations, including lodgment and payment deadlines, unless we’ve agreed to handle these on your behalf.
  • Refrain from requesting actions that are false or misleading.

In line with the TPB Code of Professional Conduct, Across Books will:

  • Act lawfully, ethically, and in your best interests.
  • Protect the confidentiality and security of your information.
  • Provide services competently and with due care.
  • Avoid or manage any conflicts of interest.
  • Keep you informed about your obligations and any relevant changes in tax legislation.
  • Ensure that any staff or contractors working on your behalf are appropriately supervised and not disqualified from providing BAS services.
